The High Country is the objective for adventurers, hunters, hikers and explorers everywhere. The High Country from SCAR blades is the perfect companion for the journey. The modified drop point blade is a useful design for all tasks; preparing food, cutting wood, dressing fish and game, or even whittling a walking stick. The combination of the lower finger bolster and upper thumb bolster makes this grip secure in all situations. The grip is contoured and grooved for comfort and security. There is a moderate rear bolster of full tang steel sandwiched between the Micarta scales. In use, these features assure a non-slip grip regardless of how the knife is wielded.

Just received my new “Bear” in the mail. Some things must be seen and held in person to appreciate. The quality of craftsmanship is extraordinary. I can’t wait to get this thing out in the field and work with it. The weight feels perfect and the handle is very well constructed and fits my hand perfectly (gloves size medium). I will update more from the campsite once I get this knife out and put it through the paces. I have no doubt it will perform based on the YouTube reviews I watched before purchasing.
